I am going to plan to be there 3 hours before the show begins. I'll be doing good if I make it before lunch.

Oooops I am supposed to be bringing the lunch. I'll need DH to throw me out of the house earlier than I'm going to be ready for. I also need to drop by the Greenlake neighborhood to pick up the microwave.

Oh well, almost got the tax stuff done today, finish tomorrow and then can . . . what day is it? Are we getting a weekend soon? Hmm. . . must be getting old . . .

If I don't get back on again before Monroe, have a good time everyone, I'll miss you all, I know it's going to be quiet here. Hey, did T Hi every get her computer? She hasn't been on lately.

Hello Washington!

I will not say how hot it got here today. I fully expect a blizzard over spring break... Yup.

Anyway! CR, there is interest in your chicken statues... Or what ever you actually call them.. here in Michigan. YES, I am in Holland... Michigan. We have a big Dutch Festival here called Tulip Time. And what do we do? Look at Tulips, have 3 parades, a bunch of Dutch dancing, wooden shoe carving... Well, a bunch of terrorizing of the locals. AND a carnival for a week... AND usually a LAUP fest at the same time... Latin Americans for Urban Progress... Car show... Well, you get the picture. I avoid town for a week. So, thats the Holland I am in. I do have friends in the original Holland though. She does not raise chickens. She raises regular birds... the ones on her hands. LOL

It has been heavy heavy HEAVY RAIN since last night!             
Soaked just running to the car !
I am ready to cancell today !!!

Cannot even wash & dry crates !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, that's me, too.

I'm pretty much soaked through all the time; I cleaned one bin and set another to soaking for the EEs but couldn't get any work done on their permanent accomodation today, at least partly because DH is sick again/yet; he's segued from stomach flu to a bad sore throat and earache. I can't leave him alone- he's certainly not in any shape to take care of the animals. I'm trying to stay healthy through positive thinking and healthy eating and all that jazz, but at this point I'd rather he get healthy!

I have cabin fever like whoa. I wish I could go to Marysville Monroe, but things have gone from unpromising to downright forbidding, so to speak. Best stay home and struggle to keep them from becoming impossible, or imobile.

When I left around five-ish she still had two more enormous pots of stock brewing, plus meat to shred for...CHICKEN ENCHILADAS.
