Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh.... So my husband called me today from work and said I needed to go to the farm store in MT Vernon.... I said why??? Cant I just go to the Coop? he said no go there and go to the desk and give them your name... Again I asked why? He said women just do it already said I love you and hung up..... So I get the kids in the truck drive up there give the girl my name..... AND.....She said Happy Anniversary, I have your BLRW chicks ready to go.

. I had asked him about a month ago if I could get 2 BLRW and he told me NO I had toooo many.... Well now I guess I know why.... He had already ordered and paid for them....

OHHHH!!! That's awesome!!!! What a great guy!!!! Happy Anniversary!!! That is a great present!!! NOW.....what did you get him??? LOL!

Monique, I'd have that leg looked at pronto! I'd worry about leg clot too!! Please keep us posted! And hope you are feeling better soon! And very glad to read that your friend is back in the hospital. There is some nasty crud going around. My youngest DD Megan has been sick since the weekend. I kind of expected it, being spring break and all. It never fails. SOMEONE gets sick during break every time! She complained of a head ache all day Saturday, then woke up Sunday and threw up, still had the headache and a cough. I though for sure she had the flu when I took her temp at it was 103.8!!! Rushed her into the Dr and they said it could be the flu, but there are a LOT of nasty viruses going around too. By Monday it was mostly a nasty head cold that she's still working thru. Just knocking on wood that nobody else gets it!!!

Julie & Kate, hope your MRI/CT Scan's go well. I'm still waiting to hear back from my Dr. to hear the results on my neck one last week. Shoulder nerve pain is now gone, but I still have the achiness in it. So who knows.....

Those with incubator problems, my Brinsea officially is dead, so I replaced it with the Hovabator 1588. I borrowed RedReiner's last year and it is tons better than the LG, which I also have. But costs a tad more. But much more constant temp and it comes pre programmed to the right temp. And it fits more eggs than my Brinsea did!!!

Needless to say, I have my LG loaded with a hatch due on Easter, and my 1588 is loaded up too with staggered hatches over the next few weeks. I like to use the LG as a hatcher most of the time.

I just traded a PS farm innovator bator for an LG, problem is I think I only did one hatch in one long time ago! So, I will be asking later about tips on this thing, I am exhausted!! did not sleep well and was up at 5 am!! CT scan went fine and quick, won't get results for a day or two BUT..... I was given a copy of it, and I looked my self, now, I have seen TONS of rads on dogs and cats, and from what I can tell it looks like the acetabulum on the right, which is the effected side isn't shaped correctly, like a little short, so there is a narrowing of the space, now, it could be a calcium deposit, or a bone spur, and I don't know enough about what some soft tissue looks like to see bursitis!
So, not sure what they will do, but I know an injection in the SI joint isn't going to take care of it!!

.... April 1st was the 10 year Anniversary of how long we have been together since we started dating.... We will be married 7 years on July 1st. So I guess I owe him something good come July... But normally we dont buy each other gifts we just try to spend at least a little time together. Actually it was the 1st time in 7 years we actually got to spend the whole anniversary together. We took our kids to Seattle went to the Pacific Science Center, The Aquarium, Pike Place Market and Snoqualmie Falls. Then he took us out to dinner.. SO I was just greatful that we all got to be together. So chicks on top of that.... I got spoiled.
