Well said ladies! I would like to add that this is a Public forum and of you don't like people to comment on what you post, don't post it. We have a lot of opinionated people on here and they are not afraid to voice those opinions. Some I have not liked and others I have taken to heart and use to this day.

Thanks for posting about DE at Del's. Few years back I went there and they didn't even know what it was.
Monroe Farm & Feeds also didn't carry it so went to the Issaquah Grange for it few years back.
Time for another bag though. Good to know.

I'm in Duvall on Lake Margaret. I was on our farm in North Dakota and have one Andalusian chicken that I inherrited from my North Dakota renters from hell. They left in the middle of the night and left one of their chickens to fend for itself. Long story short, I started to feed her and when it got really cold (20 below) I put her in my laundry room in the main house. She has repaid me every day with an egg. We have recently returned to Washington State and have built her a coop, yes she came with. Chickie really prefers to be in our garage in her little cage (wire dog crate). She follows me all around the yard as I do my gardening. I have never had chickens before and she is so sweet. They say that andalusians are not friendly but I guess there are always exceptions to the rule.

You should check out Norwex or E-Cloths. They are microfiber cloths infused with silver; I use them for days on end with no stink because after the cloth is rinsed in hot water and hung to dry overnight, it neutralizes the bacteria it picked up all day. LOVE me some E-cloths! I use them to clean all over the house :)
These sound really great, Jess, where can one find them?

So I tell you getting woke up at 12:30 by oldest son saying I just pick up younger brother he was in a accident its stinks! A dog ran out in front of his car he turned away and over corrected to much. Said the car turned all the way around Mom, asked him if he hurt anyplace he said no just my hands. Poor kid just got the car 2 months ago. Thank goodness he's ok. Just got the car back home so now we have to see whats wrong with it. He hit a big rock or something ( but hay mom not the dog) yep had a talk about his safety verse the dog ..

I have a friend who's husband swerved to avoid hitting a squirrel. He drove straight into a tree and he's suffers longterm effects of a serious brain injury. It sounds like your son got lucky. Tell him about my friend's husband - maybe it will help reinforce the point. Although, I think it is a reflex reaction to avoid hitting an animal.
