She's got oodles of water as I've been out several times today to refresh their waterers and keep it cool. I also have a pan of water with ice cubes in it and made a mud bath like Chickielady suggested. The others are liking it but I think because she just doesn't have a comb yet she's hotter? My Rooster is suffering too but he won't let me bring him in. We're at 98 and hopefully we've topped out now. My sweet husband did offer to run a cord over and hook up a fan for them.

My girls love the mud too! Had to shower them down before heading to the beach! I just used the tarp so the entire run isn't a mud pit! Hope to buy a shade cloth soon but they were way more expenzive and this is dual purpose

We are not used to the heat over here plus we have insane humidity...2 of my thermometers say humidity is 55-60%.
You guys have alot dryer heat over there, it is sticky here !
My birds have trees, too, and love the mud bath under the cool trees.

Hey! Chickielady, I vaccinated all my girls and was very thankful for your tips! I had two kids catching and handing them to me, I held them and DH shot them up! Then they went into the coop until the others were done. Then I gave them a treat so they'd quit giving me the stink eye!

Hopefully it'll save my girls! So far so good but the 10 day wait will be over next Thursday.

mud in an old tire feels soooooooooogood !!!
DH made Jack a car por that also came with a mud hole, and it feels sooo good !!!

Our boy was 12 pounds at 8 weeks old and now is 12 weeks and 24 pounds, growing fast !

Very-very true. When we get the humidity, we know a storm is a brewin'. I think it hit 100 today. We are going to be gone so I set up a hose on trickle to run constantly in their outside water containter. Hopefully, that will help.

So my girls and I are in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for my parents 40th anniversary and we thought that we would finally get away from the rain! WRONG! It has been raining and 75-80 here and sounds like it is finally hot and sunny up there!!! AAAAhh!!!! '
