My ducky girls would LOVE it down here! Big fat warm rain drops! My human girls however are about as sick of rain as I am! They did go for a swim in the pool today anyways!

Thank you. I got 10 yards of concrete for my birthday. I am still having to think about it. Part of me is happy with it, and another part of me says that I would rather be 24 again, and get diamonds, or at least a great dinner in a bistro. I did get great weather, and I have air conditioning in the house. ( We think that the big dog didn't spend anytime outside today.)I know that I don't like the old lady numbers that birthdays are bring into my life. I am fairly sure that I am a very rebellious chicken, and puppy owner, and I am not quite ready to be this old.

Tony it was very nice to meet you in person the other night. Your ducks are very charming and amusing.

We are not used to the heat over here plus we have insane humidity...2 of my thermometers say humidity is 55-60%.
You guys have alot dryer heat over there, it is sticky here !
My birds have trees, too, and love the mud bath under the cool trees.

Very-very true. When we get the humidity, we know a storm is a brewin'. I think it hit 100 today. We are going to be gone so I set up a hose on trickle to run constantly in their outside water containter. Hopefully, that will help.

You are probably still gone, but wanted to ask if you ever used a mister hose for your birds ?
We used them alot in CA when it was so hot, saved alot of water that way, too.

wow, where is everyone ?
I have a Q: Does anyone out there have, or know of anyone who has RIW's ?
That is pea-combed rhode island white hatching eggs ?
I would love some and cannot find them anywhere but welp hatchery is selling some that have a huge comb, not true RIWs.
I think theirs is another hatchery conglomeration of a RIR that has white feathering !
A RIW is an entirely seperate breed~
Anyone ?
