RE: southside get together.

It's getting too late in the season for a covered area in a statepark I think.
I wouldn't mind a potluck but I can't host such a thing. (think 2 guys/house keeping. My eldest son lives with me and truthfully he's a slob, worse then me even.) It couldn't be outside I have no patio or even a picnic table. My wife wasn't very big on eating outside so I never bothered.
But I'm willing to travel for such an event.

Any other ideas then ?
Any state parks in that area ?
We have some out here (Bruceport) or even downtown Raymond at the Farmer's Market Park....but that is here..............
CR what parks are out that way (Chehalis area) ?????????????

My poor little guy looked so out-of-it when I dropped him off at school. His eye is pretty swollen from the bounce house accident. I wouldn't be surprised if I got a call from the school today to come pick him up. I hope he holds it together today, though.

I've got to go through my daughter's closet. I had the kids pack their own clothes for the weekend. I double-checked them with each child before we put the bags in the vehicle. I know my daughter has worn the pair of pants she packed within the last couple of weeks. I couldn't believe it - she couldn't even get them on while we were in Oregon - and she didn't have a back-up. I think both the twins have gone through a massive growth spurt - they suddenly look very big to me. My daughter has been crying so much the last few days that her legs hurt really bad. Are "growing pains" for real? I don't know what else to attribute her leg pain to. While driving home last night, she was screaming and crying at the top of her lungs that her legs hurt "so bad".
My legs used to hurt real bad as a little girl. Just after I turned 4 my grandmother , and great aunt took me to the Seafair Parade. The only thing that I clearly remember of it was how bad my leg hurt. I still don't want to go to the parade again. This leg pain happen off and on for a number of years. I am not sure when it was that I realized that one aspirin could have stopped my pain with in 20 minutes. This may explain why I tend to be willing to take meds for pain these days.

Your story of the one pair of pants, reminded me of the summer I was 10. My parents figured out how to go on vacation, for no more cost than staying would have cost. They took us back country hiking in the Olympics. I managed to forget to pack socks. I due to some stories that I had been told wore a pair of rubber much boots. I was miserable. I am now proud that I have been on that hike, but I am still not happy with how badly I had been outfitted for such a trip.

I may need to take my Silkie cockerels there as I've been unable to sell them on Craigslist and their crowing is making me nervous. Can you tell me the location of the auction? I may take my boys there on Saturday.

Well I shouldn't be allowed to go to the auction by myself. I ended up bring home 15 rabbits, 2 Australian Diamond doves. 2 Java Rice finches, and 6 chickens (I think that one may be a roo

Yes I have drunk from the possum kool-aid again.

I see the chicken now that it's pointed out. I thought it was a wombat or lemur or something like that at first. But saw a possum face up by the shoulder, and raccoon foot. Maybe a poscoon or raccossum.

Magnesium lotion! I love that stuff. You can buy it on amazon or direct from the website, Ive found best prices through amazon.
The "oil" stings a bit so I would suggest trying the lotion or gel.

I recommended this to someone with "restless legs" and they are hooked now too. A nice rub down before bed really helps sleep too!
Try Potassium also, most likely found in real orange juice and /or bananas.
Potassium , or lack of potassium can cause nasty painful leg cramps.

[[[[.........Growing pains mostly happens when a child suddenly grows quickly......]]]]]

Severe and frequent growing pains can be a symptom of Celiac Disease (gluten intolerance). If complaints also include frequent intestinal upset, stomach cramps, and canker sores in the mouth, at least look into the possibility.
True, it happened to me.
