Ok may seem like a silly question, but... Is there anything that most people have on hand, that has a high enough magnesium in it to help? I'm not 100% sure, what foods have a good dose of magnesium in them...

Thanks for the tip hallerlake!

I think bananas have high magnesium but I don't know for sure.

Thank you Russ! That site was a big help.

I will try the washcloth next.

I didn't see it on the list, but I've heard that chocolate has quite a bit of magnesium in it... especially dark chocolate

found an interesting link about that... http://magnesiumrichfoods.com/55/benefits-of-chocolate/

When it rains it pours!!!

I just got a call from my Aunt... Her eldest son had an accident. And is being medivac'ed out of Kingston to the UW medical center... He was cutting wood, and managed to amputate his hand. The turnicket that was applied didn't stop the bleeding, and they lost his pulse...

His 13 year old little sister is going to come stay with my family. I'm sure she is a wreck. So now all I can do is sit here and listen for the medivac to fly over, and then back the other way...

My DD's champion BLRW pullet is not herself today. Didn't run after the scratch like the others and was holding her wings out funny. I picked her up and DH lifted her tail and we thought her vent had prolapsed....there was like a 1" golf ball size protrusion.

I came in to read about what to do, never having dealt with this before. My oldest DD and I went out to "treat" her, lifted her tail feathers and she looked completely normal!!!! I felt around and couldn't feel anything I might be an egg. She is 7 months old this weekend, and we are still waiting on her first egg. I am hoping and praying it is just her figuring out how to do her thing. We've put her in confienment in the basement so we can check on her often, but please pray that this is just her figuring out how to lay her first egg and that it doesn't turn into anything more serious.

We also lost our Muscovy Drake, Mr Duck, on Saturday or Friday night. One of my DD's went to bring he and Mrs. Duck some treats Sat afternoon, and he was gone with feathers everywhere.

. Poor Mrs. Duck looked so lonely and sad! So I checked Craigslist and another 4-H family had two 2 mo old chocolate Muscovies they were trying to rehome, so we brought them home today to keep her company. They are just gorgeous! Will have to post a pic soon. We think they are both Drakes, but not 100% sure. Hopefully they all get along ok.

Hope everyone else is having a non-eventful weekend!
