I've only been to Onalaska feed a handful of times because it's the "back way" home from town, but the first time I went there, I asked all about ordering chicks. I'd like to find out how PQHF does chicks in the spring, though

I'm planning to stop there next week to get some scratch and a flock block, though, so if I don't forget (

), I'll ask them about chicks. If you happen to find anything out before I do, though, post it

I am considering ordering a set of cornish-x from McMurray Hatchery. Is there anyone else in the seattle(ish) area who wants some meaties? I'm only at 28 right now but oddly cost still seems to be cheaper than ordering from the feed store.

There is a jump in shipping from McMurray, at 26 or 27 I believe. So watch out for that. It is only about $7, but a lot of shipping cost for 1 extra chick.

I do want to do some Meaties starting in March sometime. But I only want about 8-10. I just want to try them out, and also don't want to have too many. My house should be chicken free by that time, and I could brood the chickies. So if somebody wants to get about 15-17 about the same time I would share an order. I am way out here on the coast, but I am pretty sure I can find a way to get them down here. If nothing else, I should be having a Seattle medical run about that time, and we could coordinate something.

I am also open to doing the colored ranger or red broilers if that is what someone wants to order.

Hi all,

Just want to give a shout out to Cheryl (Suburbanchickchick) Hope you are having a great vacation. She was really working late last night. She snuck out of work after 9 to meet me in Renton. She's a very nice woman and it was a pleasure to meet her.

Now on to the real reason of this post. SHHH everyone.

I need to know from Rustler how to go about rustling. Thinking I'm gonna need to go on the lam with these two:

So I'll need to know about changing their names, getting them new social security cards, The secret handshake for chicks on the run, location of safe houses.

Imp- thinking of renaming them Thelma & Louise. I'll be Brad Pitt.

I wanted to do fifteen, so that might work out pretty well (I was wanting these delivered on march 30, which isn't far off from your date). Yeah, I spent all day calling feed stores, asking prices and calculating shipping.

DW says she is wonderin if we really want to show up in Feb. lol.

BTW do you people know what one of our own did.

"I jumped rope and found an octopus at the restaurant because I am wonder woman!"
Yes that is it.

And to the first ( besides the guilty) to guess will win safe passage to the party with out worry of Chicken Rustler visiting yer coop.
