The hail is hitting here in Renton now. Looks like it's snowing. The ground, roads, cars etc are all white. Outside cat made a dash under the shed. Chickens followed. I hope they come out after. Now lightening and thunder.

Hi we dont have a wafer we have a PID so I'll try and call you later tonight if I can, my husband has a heat lamp in it right now and its staying about 99.5.
Im going to order a few elements to have on hand.

I just got back from the Dr and they gave me pain meds and muscle relaxers and said I cant work for up to two weeks. Plus they took x-rays of my back too said something like syictica nerve is involved. So we will see.

Oh the pictures of the goat kids maybe tomorrow oh and if I do write on here tomorrow Im going to be all druged up and I dont do drugs well at all. Im a light weight there...

Illia, every so often you can luck out and get a hatchery bird that loves being broody. My RIR hatchery girl has gone broody twice now and is only a year old. Now my skovies on the other hand are known for being a broody duck and haven't yet. Grr...

well, the wind and rain finally arrived here in Woodinville. My girls were free ranging and headed for the run. they can getunder the barn in the run. Had to go hunt down one of my RIR though. she will stay out in anything

Today was my friends memorial for her 1 year death anniversary, Haley B. Salvador. If you could keep her in your prayers tonight, I would be forever thankful.

Last year she got hit by two cars while trying to cross the freeway..

Do you all mind if I pick your brains (again) for a moment? I'm curious what you're all feeding and where you're getting it from. It seems like all the feed stores around me only sell xcel, and from looking at their website, it appears I won't be able to get non-medicated feed for meat birds or turkeys. (I had to do my research, so I would know what to ask for - I got tired of the guy at my local store giving me the holier-than-thou I-know-best-and-you-don't attitude when I ask about non-medicated feed - or heck, something for ducklings for that matter. Really wish I could keep going there, he's really nice otherwise.) Next option will probably be to try Del's, but they always seem kind of over-priced. Anyone getting non-medicated feed, specifically for meaties and turkeys?
