We have a friend who is a breeder. Quincy's dad is a national champ show dog and his owner says Quincy is "the awesomest dog ever". How many of can leave yer dog in the back seat with groceries maet and all and have total confidence that when you come back to the rig NOTHING will be disturbed.

me. with my Samantha, English Pedigree Black Labrador RET. The most awesome dog in the world.
RonB and alot of others know what I mean...typically...we slide through life, and live so much longer than our 'pets'...I have cried and died inside to loose a horse I had for so many years...but we live longer than they do, so sad, butas I get older I have noticed that there is one or two, IF you are lucky, that steal your heart AND your loyalty, and no other ever measures up.....such is Sam.
I still cry for her, I still hear her tags gingling

I miss her so much...........my heart hurts and I cannot breath...She was with me for 15 years, my kids grew and moved away...she protected us all in -20 degree weather...............she herded chickens, retrieved them, and never killed 1.
Need to stop this as it hurts too much.

I want to say how sorry I am for you and your loss....it is very hard. I lost my 5 lb Pomeranian - Bea - almost 3 years ago. It was months that I still reached for her beside me on the bed. To this day I swear I can hear her little bark. I understand you 100%.

I dread the day I lose my Dusty dog...

No other dog could ever replace her. Ive had her since she was 6 weeks old, nursed her for 3 weeks, and raised her.

I
am trying to find the hobbit house plans from Ireland, and it has all been changed, I am an Architectural major.
Then I got pregnant...and returning to school...I got PG again...in my day it was more important to be a Mom.
BUT, I have continued to study archetecture, and various forms therof, and all forms of art, and that is why I am striving to have the farm, and developing "retreats" for other artists,,, it is HARD to be an artist, for example, I cannot multiply and often add or subtrate in my checkbook, I have a hard time dealing with people, crowds, life.
Apparently one side of my brain is developed, and the other is not, that explains why I fall down alot...just kidding,, but not about the developement of Spiritwood Farm...it is a long time coming.

To make it worse, there's a TAILED Easter Egger in the photo. Can't they call it an Americana or something?

I thought people by now knew of the low cholesterol myth. . . .

Can we all spell 'Ameraucana' or something ???? Oh Illia, you are the only perfect one.......
I must admit a few weeks ago I was communicating by e-mail to Pips&peeps about something and mentioned my blue ameraucanas were supposed to be from her line, and I posted and when I re read the post a few days later I realized that I had written 'americana'

Oh man, she probably thinks I did it just to irritate her !!!

I had to go back and correct it....

That is a COOL house!!!

Too funny, DH and I met in college, both of us have a BA of Arch. as well as a BA of Fine Arts. Neither of us ever got licensed though. I stopped working when my oldest was 2 1/2. DH went another direction with his career.
