For me being a Mother is a wonderful blessing! Even though trying at times, I wouldn't change Chloe for the world.

Sorry your power went out hun, but I'm glad everythings ok and turned back on now.

Yes, I have already raised my 3, and my baby brothers 2, and DH"s 4 Yikes!!! enough kids !!!!!!!
You have Chloe, she is yours only for a little while, then she will be her own person...still your baby, but not a baby anymore...I remember....and Chloe is gorgeous !!!

OMG if that isn't hysterical !
My Mom used to say that if you loose a needle on the floor just put the baby down and watch...she will spot it in seconds...OMG Cheryl you poor thing, swamp creature, please have a better day...

I stayed huddled up on the couch. So my day did get better. Hopefully DH will understand why I didn't do much today... It took me forever to get rid of the chill from being all wet and muddy. When I changed out of my muddy chlothing, I reached into my left jean pocket and pulled a handfull of mud and sand out.

Oh nothing works for me except a HOT bath...

Thanks for that! It was fairly frightening earlier, but now that I know its ok, it is a bit funny. And I'm still laughing at myself for slipping in the mud, even though I still need to wash my muddy work clothes.

Thanks for putting up with my random rants! Its sucks not having an adult to chat with during the day. Two year olds are fun and all, but not much for conversation. lol

Honey let me tell you...

First off, I forgot to write in the puke story how she had done this in the middle of the night and did not cry or make a noise....so she sat in it all night long, until we went in to get her up the next morning.

Also, I did medical transcription for 5 years, out of my home. I had NO ONE over 4' tall to talk to. I was going nuts. I finally got the job out of the house as soon as EVERYONE was in school. I was a basket case.

I bet every mom on here sympathizes, reflects, and admires what it is that you are doing. Rant away (my opinion) I can totally understand. If there is a problem....PM me with your rants. I understand (as do many on here). Besides, we like to have a good laugh, at someone elses' expense. We have been there before.

Hang in there sweety ...... you still have the teenage years to have fun with (that is where I am right now). Some days I want to shoot myself in the foot.

Oh, and we know you love your daughter....but it is nice to talk to an adult occasionally.

Oh yeah...the tween years and then the teen years and then when they are in their 20s and 30s...they suddenly learn you are not only alive, but wise with years...been there, over and over and over and over...

I went ahead and made myself a hot buttered rum to sip on and rewarm up with! Had to make it light on the rum though, or every bad joint in my body would flame up... Sometimes I want a drink, and sometimes it sucks cause it usually hurts to much to have even a sip...

I would LOVE to take a hot bath... But I'm to tall to soak in my tiny little tub. Its the perfect size for my DH, as he is a little guy, and Chloe loves to try and swim in it. But I need something that is at least 5-6' long. lol Sometimes it sucks being almost 6' tall...

WOW those are some tree trunk legs on that boy there! Beautiful cockeral you have there!

his dad has huge legs. he is over a year old and is still working on growing in his spurs. i would say almost an inch plus in circumference for his legs.
the one pictured i am not sure how big it will get since it has grown faster than its half brothers.

i think for fun i will post this pic on the guess the breed thread to see just how well ppl are at guessing his cross.

Illia could spot his cross in a heartbeat, even if he was still wet out of the egg !
She is empowered !!!
