I'll have my camera up and ready to get pics tomorrow.

Cold night. Sold two Araucana hens today on our way far out of town, and it looks like it is going to snow in some cities. Not us though. Highly doubt we'll get snow or even slush.

Those two Araucanas were the BIGGEST PAIN to ever catch though!! I stupidly forgot to snatch them the night before, so I went out during the day. . . The first one was easy, she's pretty friendly. The other was VERY skittish and flighty, mainly because she's molting, and she's VERY fast, plus chickens are so hard to catch when they don't have tails. . .

I ended up giving up, and grabbing a different hen, one who I never listed as for sale because I forgot about her, so. . . I've still got one Araucana on the list. One very annoying Araucana.

But, the lady was happy with her two she got.

Thanks....when I got to see the heartbeat it was pretty cool...just a white flashing "light" sort of...but still, a heartbeat...it's so weird to think that another person is GROWING in my uterus! LOL

Well get gets worse. About the time it starts to kick you in the kidneys, and bladder, it will feel like an alien has taken your body over. It's a good thing that the alien will pop out and you will fall in love with it. lol

I'm calling the insurance fisrt thing in the morning, telling them to hold off sending our cute little car to the scrapper. I just looked up the price for a brand new engine: $3,999.00 plus $215 shipping and $89 for a shipping crate. The dealer, I'm sure, can get them for cheaper than this, so he is charging over $6,000 in labor!!!! The water did not even come up to the floorboards of the car. I'm sure that everything under the hood does not need to be replaced. If it needs new timing components and water pump it is another $800. I'd be fine with a rebuilt engine; they are only $1,000 and for an extra $200 come with a 36 month, 36,000 mile guarantee.

I need to have it towed to a repair shop that is nearby the Bellevue VW dealer and honest. I saw on a biodiesel blog someone in CA drives all the way up to greencar.com in Bellevue! I've not even heard of them, but I just left them a message as that is close.

I sure hope the insurance has not sent it to the scrapper yet....

RFF check yer PM's

Ogress have ya given any thought to checking what it would cost to get an enging from a wrecking yard. I think the best plan would be to hire me to install pedals like a bike then next time DH decides to be lets just say SILLY and try to drive through water there would be far less to damage.

Hey somebody posted about a family history in logging. I think it was around North Bend. I also have a family history in logging. My grandad logged the Mojave Desert. My dad logged part of Riffe Lake.
