Again, why is all the awesome stuff so far away or requiring a really good truck/trailer?

Nice crates. Wish I could help transport them, but I often find myself at a loss when I discover potential treasures. Good luck Hallerlake, hope you find a way to get them home!

Well wish me luck. I have an interview out at home depot in Poulsbo tomorrow! Keeping my fingers crossed, its not exactly what I want to do, but work is work now days. If I get the position, that will mean I will be working two jobs again. I also have the opportunity to work at a high end resteraunt, but I dont think I can handle three jobs, a toddler, and my farm... I'm telling you though. Something has got to give, and soon.

It's OK. From the way the ad reads you are ONLY getting the box. That is basically 4 sides no top no bottom no frames no inner cover no foundation. And then it sounds like you have to assemble. I can buy the same for about $12 locally already assembled. and they are high quality.

ahh ok... care to help me out with a wee little box? I'd love to try out a little bee thing.

Well sorry but I only have a couple of boxes and dwill be needing all of them to do splits this summer. And I don't have any frames even for me. I don't want to discourage anybody but the cost adds up pretty fast. See for one "hive" you need 2 deep boxes, 20 frames with foundation, a bottom board, a top, an inner cover and a feeder. This will set ya back about $80 and then ya need bees. And if ya want honey then you need honey supers and frames with foundation. And then a basic suit is $50+ and tools and smoker and gloves.

Lol! Well, only one will fit into the truck bed so no can do (& we'll be too busy to be able to make 2 trips). Poor P3 DH will be getting up about 3hr earlier than his normal Sunday time to be able to make the trip.
