Okay, DH was just in Tacoma for the wrestling tournament. he was coming through Snohomish and saw a sign that said Chicks for sale. I told him it might have been one of you guys....Any one?

Wow, you sure are all chatty today, must be all that snow. I'll have to catch up later. We woke up to 4"+ this morning, and it snowed hard all day. DH tried to install the trim in the coop, but it was too short and slid in the gap between the wall and the floor, so I had to drive down to Issaquah and get some taller stuff. DH was with me, so we drove to Redmond to get some cash from the credit union, and have lunch. By the time we got back home, only 2.5 hours later we had 6 more inches of snow! It's snowing heavily now, so I don't know what our total will be.
We moved all the birds into the new run while we worked on the coop. Most really seemed to like it, but one BO needed to lay and egg, and was really upset not to have her nest box. Since DH was working in the coop, I put a clean kitty litter box in the run, and she seemed pretty satisfied with that until her egg song get too loud, and the other hens came to check out her new nest. Pretty soon, 3 other birds joined her in the kittly litter box, and it was rocking so hard I thought it would flip, but the BO came back out again and left the other 3 to hang out in there.
As soon as the coop was done, I opened the coop door,and they all piled in! Several of them were rolling in the shavings and having a grand time. This evening, all 9 were huddled on the floor in the corner. I picked up a few and put them on a roosting bar, but I think I need to change the bar. I asked the builder to use a 2X4 wide side up, and instead he used a 2X6 skinny side up. The EE's like it, but I think it is too skinny for the others. I put a few in nest boxes, and some others joined them. Some I thought were going to fly down, but instead, they switched boxes, and the Wyandotttes went into the boxes themselves. One thing for sure is they don't know what windows are. Several keep hopping to the ledge and then flap madly at the glass.
I hope they are all fine in ther morning. I'll try and post some pics.

Just wait till you get to taste and smell the stuff! One word of advice... doooon't shake the bottle! Experience is the best teacher!
