Right now with one turner, it's 41. There's one more shelf in there so I could get 82 but I'm not sure of how the heat would be on the lower shelf. I'm gonna test it out today and see. I may have to make another deflector to disperse the heat away from the lower shelf so it is more even. Glad you like it.

Oh and I'm trying to find other shelves on the net that would fit. If all works as planned, I could get 4 shelves and turners in there for a total of 164! Woo Hoo! Not bad for a cheap fridge!

The heat on the bottom was 108* before I added the deflector and was 97* after. So I'm going to pop a couple of holes in it to increase the 97* to 99*. Which if that works, I should be able regulate the heat above as well with a second deflector and get more turners in safely. I'm a little short on sleep, so please forgive my rambling!

Sorry to hog half a page but...
Our snow has finally turned to rain, all rain! Can't wait to see the lake it's going to leave behind when it all melts! But I'm not complainin'.

I think you did an amazing job! So was the fridge in working order when you bought it, or were you basically buying it for the cabinet? We have a mini-fridge downstairs that doesn't work anymore, but we haven't replaced it since it's built into our cabinets and we just don't think about it much.

It was actually working but I just gutted it before I started to convert it. I tried to find a broken one but without any success.
Most of the time, you can just pop off or unscrew the wood face(trim) around the inserted fridge to get it out. That's if you want to get at it.

Hey! Way to go Blueducky!!!
I have those same scoops in all my feed barrels (one for each different feed) and they should work excellent !!
And, I got mine at Walmart, in the pet dept, and think the scoops were a couple-three bucks a piece, nice hard plastic, should work perfect !! Very clever thinking!!!!!!!

Gonna have to start meal planning around this thread.

Totally awesome bator broodytood. That looks like it should be installed as a permanent piece of furniture. Hope your hand heals quickly. (I know about using the hacksaw blade without a handle)

Okay, my brain is still a bit foggy but is Just bugged and the meanie from Seattle relatives? By meanie...I am referring to the young lady who keeps sending us snow thoughts and refers to herself as Meanie. Sisters maybe? I am only figuring this out....sorry I am a bit slow.

4312,

Maybe I can clear this up, Just Bugged & eenie114 are BYC friends. eenie lives most of the time in Missouri, (I see she changed her location to Seattle?), but visits Enumclaw often, living just a couple blocks from Just Bugged, when she is there. eenie114 is infamous for commiting brownie drive bys. Leaving warm brownies on doorsteps, ringing the bell, and running.
I have volunteered my house for her practice runs.

There are no meanie, miney or mo.

Maybe we should try to set up our potluck for eenies next visit in May? I think I remember Just Bugged (Christina) volunteering for coordinating it? and had a location in enumclaw.

Now JB or eenie can come on and correct me.
