Just got this pic from Scraps, this is MOT's big brother:

Is he gorgeous or what ?
I like the way his back has leveled out.
As MOT has grown in the last few weeks, his tail has grown, has his sickle feathers now, and his back suddenly appears so much more level now that he has a tail...

I use a rubbermaid shed as a coop. Works great for me, although it lacks charm. See my BYC page for pictures.

Ventilation would be a concern as well as getting too hot in the summer and if you ever got heavy snowfall or super high winds, it would be gone.

HMMM also I'm thinking a heatlamp would be tough to get inside there, it might melt the walls

Oh NO!!

Yeah, it really sucked!
Now i have my dogs (who like to try and groom the chickens) in the yard.
Any other ideas? I also have a ton of ducks that don't fit in my coop lol (they do try though).

I have had multiple broodys for months, and I finally got tired of having 4 or more broodys in the coop. I finally put them all into solitary. That finally broke their brood late last week. So I would have been able to help just last week.

Applesauce!!!!!

Would an incubator work?

RFF:: Congrates on baby goaties !!!
And please do not let that cougar get them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And look at the MOT's brother's pics, MOT's back is leveling out as his big tail grows, so maybe he is OK ?!?
We shall see at the show.
But I would still like to see any RIW.
I am a SPPA & ALBC member, and thought about contacting Frank Reese, but let's just waite & see, they are laying now, at exactly 6 months old, and MOT is doing his manly chores.
he decided suddenly that he hated Clarence today, as I let them free range with wire between them, and Clarence so much wiser, stood and looked through the fence while MOT spured a few times

I had to run out with a loaf of bread and Clarence went for it, such a big sweetheart!
So, MOT sustained a few blood spots on his comb, big turd head !
Dang, try to keep these birds SQ is a trial!!!!

I love it! The setup looks awesome, how hard is it though to get the inside structure out?
