I saw a rainbow today. It was quite pretty, and helped me to remember that grey and green aren't the only colors in this state.

It's overcast here, but not raining this morning so far, and I can actually see a few sun rays on the deck. I hear the sounds of sawing and pounding outside - it's a good sound! Just about to call those guys in for lunch. Hope you all don't mind the progress reports. I should get some photos posted later.

I has been monsooning here for 2 days, horrible hail & rain..like running 15 feet to the car you are soaked to the skin kind of rain.
Windsheild wipers on high & still cannot see....even at 25 mph...
Lots of flooding...fields and creeks.

Best wishes for kindling Illia!!
Watch no babies pop out on the wire, it can happen.
I just ordered more vaccines....KA-CHING!!!

Rustler, can you phot the extra bell sails so I can see ?
I think DH wants a sailboat in a lean..full sails & spinaker about 14" high for the weathervane...has to have a tab to screw onto the weather vane on the boat's bottom.

Want me send a photo ?

It is trying to get sunny here....

I guess I venture out & do the burn barrel bon fire for the vaccine bottles & needles..I will not toss that stuff in the landfill!
Then we can do to the dump, to the dump, dump, dump.
I love going to our dump!!!

So many cool things people toss out..I have 5 cast iron dutch ovens and a 20" skillet and a porcelain skillet and a few antique tables & stuff so far....windows, doors, everything!!!
OK later while I go grub.

I'm in need of alot of cinder blocks! I haven't looked on "the c list" yet. Last night while I lay in bed hurting I had to go to my mental happy place..... The Walduck Astoria!!!!

I'm thinking I need to raise it 6 or more inches. Then it hit me! Put cinder blocks under it to build it up! Then it should drain easier right? I love when it all seems to come together in your head!

Ok I gotta go shower & put on clean sweats to head to another doctor appointment!

Their Araucana father comes from lines that give me eggs at 17-18 weeks so although I'm surprised at how early I got these, I'm a little non-surprised too.

Very excited though! I'll continue this "recipe" for sure. The egg is a gorgeous dark green with deep brown, nearly black speckles and splotches on it. Either it will get darker through the days or continue to be speckled, either way, I'm very happy.

So is it best to just grow one kind of raspberrys or can you grow more kinds in the same area? If its ok Id like one..

From what I read, and think I understand.. they do not cross pollinate, so it is ok to have more than one type in an area. I was frantically researching.. because I am going to probably have to put some near my logans too. sheesh. Please take more than one? lol!
