The best news is that I sold EVERY bird I brought and my 1979 Hovabator and I didn't buy ANYTHING! I would have bought the female sebbie from Sheryl had she be willing to separate her from the gander but she wouldn't. The gander looked worse than the one I was trying sell and ended up selling for $40. She wanted $175 for the pair at first and then dropped the price to $150 but I don't think there were any takers.

Chickielady, the chicks are doing great, chattering away, very active, and quite entertaining! They sleep fpr a few minutes then are up tearing the brooder apart. lol Not flighty at all, they all come running when I open the brooder, and climb all over me hands! LOVE them!

There is one who I am watching, as she holds one wing very low, almost like its to heavy for her to hold up...? How old are these little ones now?

What I do to clean the poopy bottom's is I get warm water and a cloth get it wet and just work at each bottom. Now if they are really bad than I put the bottoms in the warm water and work it off that way. Just be sure to dry it with a hair dryer to make sure its nice and dry..

Also a good trick I do is but a film of vasline on the bottoms so it wont happen again.. Works like a charm.

Oh my goodness! That roo was HUGE! For some reason I was thinking that Faverolle's were a smaller breed. Boy was I shocked when I saw the size of them. lol

I have alot to learn.
