Okay, quick question for the pros:
My hens have been doing a lot of free ranging lately. Now all of a sudden there are a few with runny poops...I am of course freaked as I have had all the Cocci problems. Everyone is acting fine and healthy. They are still on some of the chick starter to help them build immunity. Will their poops get looser because of all the free green goodies and bugs they have been eating? I would assume so but I need some reassurance. Should I be whipping out the Corid?

well -- not a pro, just a newbie, but ...

my almost-month-olds have slightly runnier poo soon after I bring in some fresh dandelion greens for them

not REAL runny, just more of a puddle, than the usual damp-dog-poo appearance

they love playing keep-away with the bunches -- I yank the plants out of the soil, part-root and all

I bought a large pot from walmart. I think it is used for large soup batches and or frying (maybe canning). I boil the water inside and my husband brings it outside and i dunk the bird. I can scald two chickens/ducks before the water needs to be heated up again.
