Inside out, sew the oval to the bottom of the "skirt" longways across the fron to the "skirt".
Then with the other 3 parts of thigh & leg, cut long 2" wide for the strap & 1/2 seam allowance=3" wide strips, hem, and fold rightsides out, attach to waistband of the jeans to have a shoulder strap.
I did so many, even added pockets inside which is easier to do before you sew it together, and have to do it by hand or by making a "twin" to use as a liner, which get sewn in at the waistband by hand.
I had these & made them for years! Love them!!
