I got it at Strombergs. They are having a sale on Brinsea incubators, the prices they have already include shipping and handling, and from what I can tell these incubators are quite expensive. I had looked at the Genesis hovabator with turner but, the prices I found with shipping ect was about the same and my impression is that the brinsea brand may be a little better?
heres the address www.strombergschickens.com
I'm really excited to start incubating eggs myself. I have a few things left to do to start my new coop and brooder room, but, in the mean time I'm researching and watching this forum for good info!!!
I have 2 Genesis 1588 and just love it. It is as fool proof as they come. The temp in my house goes up & down 10+*F and it doesn't affect the incubator a bit. The 1588 also holds 42 eggs and has holes you can slip water into the bator, but I just lift up the lid, do what I need and plop the lid back on. The temp returns to 99.5*F without the "egg thermonmeter" even flinching. If you are going to spend $200 on a bator, I recomend looking at the genesis 1588. This is not the LG that seems to have a mind of its own.
There was a BYC thread on what is the best table top incubator and that is how I ended up with mine.
Have fun.
Hmm I see, I did go to the thread and the genesis and the brinsea octo 20 were the ones on the list, enee menee minee mo!!! LOL!
I'm such a newbie to this stuff
Thank you for your advise and I will check it out! Decisions decisions!
