Congrats and Good Luck coordinating! I find the coordinating thing to be pretty challenging myself. It's a like a timed puzzle.

I know! I am planning to set five dozen chicken eggs. I also need to hatch some goose eggs but I don't want to risk doing chicken & geese in the same batch....so I might test my luck and do a hatch of about a dozen goose after this chicken hatch--and hope everyone's still laying when it's done!

Don't geese have a totally different set of requirements? Temp & humidity?

Not temp but yes humidity needs to be higher. I have also had the best results with taking them out, letting them cool a few minutes and misting them once a day.

So who has it at the price you quoted earlier. I would love one too, but I think that I am going to have to resist the thought for now.

I got it at Strombergs. They are having a sale on Brinsea incubators, the prices they have already include shipping and handling, and from what I can tell these incubators are quite expensive. I had looked at the Genesis hovabator with turner but, the prices I found with shipping ect was about the same and my impression is that the brinsea brand may be a little better?
heres the address www.strombergschickens.com
I'm really excited to start incubating eggs myself. I have a few things left to do to start my new coop and brooder room, but, in the mean time I'm researching and watching this forum for good info!!!

Thank you for the web site info.

Oh, well then maybe I need to grab JB and drive over there when they are ready for canning season, and Pears too.
Our apricots in California are usually ready to pick/eat/can the end of April !!!
But not this year, they are suffering from wet & cold just like here...maybe another month they will be ready.

Gulp!!! Help me! Help me! Chickie is going to grab me.
