I'd have to agree with you there for my household as well. DH will do one project for me per weekend - like putting up poop boards, something that took all of 30 minutes and he did only one per day, left all the tools out for me to put away, I had to come running when he neede hlp holding the thing, then he goes in and spends the rest of the day playing video games and making dirty dishes while I worked in the yard, then told me late in the afternoon that I needed to stop playing with the chickens and come in and do some laundry, get dinner made, and go grocery shopping! (I read him the riot act so he went shopping and picked up taco time)

You go girl!

The only laundry I do these days is my own. I boycotted that a long time ago. DH does his own but not without the dramatics. All the sighs as he is carrying out his basket, then hauling it in from the dryer and folding etc. So hard to watch. Poor thing!

CR, Glad Michelle is going to recover but sounds like she'll be out of commission for a while. Hope things don't get too difficult for everyone. Good thing she's got such a great neighbor!

We have 30 cinder blocks under it and the girls didn't understand what I was trying to do so it's kinda catty-wompus all over! Both doors are not locking properly. It's gonna take more than shims to fix it unfortunately. But that will have to be another day. I'm not going to be able to move for awhile....

If you haven't got everything locked down yet, you can shim the door frames themselves, so that the doors are level and work correctly even if the rest of the structure is all askew. If it weren't for that, there wouldn't be a door in modern suburbia that would open or close.

Steller Jays are theives and are noisy....but I kinda like them. they are so pretty.

Hey, RFF, have you seen any meadow blue birds (that is what we call them, unsure of official name) at your house? I saw some the other day....I love these...so pretty.

(Adds names to long list of "people to buy field guids to when I have money/an excuse to do so")

I miss blue birds; the last time I saw one in the wild was the day before my 21st birthday; the Starlings have taken out all the nest sites on my place.

One of Mikie's hens is an RSL; it's a little smaller than the two Production Reds and they're all smaller than the two Delawares. I think they're RIRXBR but I could be wrong. Anyway, it's a nice, friendly little hen.

The RSL roo is huge, as well as having a rude sense of humor.

The afforementioned Mikie's Chickens, with one of his flighty EE's off to one side and missing the popcorn, as usual:
