Thanks! I like this one too:
Before her 4th birthday we were trying to figure out what to do for a party. She wanted a unicorn party with unicorn rides. I asked if she thought the neighbor would let us attach a horn to her pony
Olivia: "No, silly mommy! I want real unicorns at my party."
Me: "Where am I going to find real unicorns?"
O: "They live on the mountain behind our house. If you go up there at night when the moon is full and sing to them, the will follow you back down to the house, and then we can just keep them behind the fence until my party."
Me: "There won't be another full moon before your party."
O (after a few moments thought): Alex lost a tooth today. Toothfaries are magical and they can talk to the unicorns any time. I'm sure if you put a note with the tooth under the pillow and a $20 bill, she will bring the unicorns down from the mountain for you."
Well, the deal with the toothfairy never worked out, though Alex was quite thrilled with the $20 since the usual tooth pay-out is $1. I did n=find a toy store that was closing and they had 5 unicorn stick ponies, so I bought those and some ribbons, rhinestones and little silk flowers and the girls had a great time decorating their unicorn stick ponies!
Oh, my gosh that is sweet.
