I used to. I used to give her cash, and when I was in CA I boxed up rice, canned goods, mac'n'chees, boxed scallop potatoes, oatmeal, you name it, and toiletries, deoderant, shampoo, cream rinse, pantie pads, girlie stuff, bras, panties, shirts, pants, socks.
The postage alone was killer.
I even sent her cat food, canned & kibbled.
She chastised me for getting the wrong size several times, so I am soooooooooooo over her.
She is off to Chicago to live with an on-line dude she met (on line) I am waiting for the call of "Oh Mom, I need a plane ticket home!"
So am almost afraid to answer my phone.

Okay, I wasn't going to share my latest story or my opinion....but ya' know me...big mouth and all. Okay, I ask you CL: How old is your daughter? If she calls will you send her $$$$? The money you need for your home. Okay, so this sounds selfish of me...but it sounds to me that you have bailed her out of more than one sticky situation...and what did you get in return...a big fat....

. Maybe it is time for her to fall on her face and have to live up to her responsibilities. I mean if she was 12 you would help...but ? If you do just tell her: "Hey, kid, you're on your own", I guarantee it will be the hardest thing you have ever had to do and I will sympathise....because I dont' know how well I would be able to do it.

My story: My DH's ex writes to him on Facebook and tells him that she needs $1300 so she can get a new apartment...I tell DH if he even sends her $13 I will cut off parts he really enjoys...he agreees with me and does not even respond to her. Well, now his son, whom has had little to NO contact with DH (by the son's choice) is hinting around about coming to live with us.....

NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!! The boy is in his 20's and says he cannot get a job because it hurts his neck when he lifts his head up (mind you he can play video games until early morning). And, he says people will not give him a job because his hair is too long (it is down to his butt). CUTTT IT!!!!! I think that deserves 2

LOL Yeah--it kind of threw me for a loop when he asked how the "chicken business" was going....and I couldn't place him.

So I just started talking chickens/eggs and hatching. I think he glazed over when I got to the goose egg--cooling, allowing to rest & misting part! LOL

I will say that having them in a bathtub is much easier! However it is much stinkier!!

1)Every night I pull out the poop covered towel and non-skid mat stuff and the food.
2)Pour some water down the sides to wash as much poopies down the drain as I can.
3)Fill the tub and let ducklings take a bath and eat their peas.
4)Drain bath water and scrub any ickies and send them down the drain.
5)Lay down clean towel and non-skid stuff.

Honestly, he probably did. He glazes over all the time on me, especially when I talk about a third run, or another bed in my garden or finishing the chain link fence or etc, etc, etc. He said he had told you about my last few eggs in the incubator - still nothing, today is day 22. No pips. But I did the water float test. DD and I have been hatching eggs, basically to learn about chickens and the fun of it. We will keep a couple of them..but will sell and then freezer camp for whoever remains at the end of the season.

I hatched out some of my personal eggs - but they were BR/bantam cochin chicks. I am thinking locals that just want a layer may not want the banty in there, so I really like the opringtons. I think I like the "fluffiness" of them. So we will keep a roo out the bunch, then all my layers will be bigger birds and I can just hatch out some of their eggs and sell chicks. Some day leading to picking a favorite breed and changing over entirely to it. The whole family is loving the process. I actually have a gentleman who wants to buy some pullets from me - he says eggs locally.

How is your DH taking the 150 some-odd eggs you have going? Sounds fun.

Okay, now the big question: How are you feeling? How is the baby doing? We all want to know ( I am sure we all do). Time for a baby update.

I have a separate shower stall in this bathroom!! After I'm done cleaning the babies.... I take a shower and then we all peep at each other while we preen ourselves pretty!!!
