Right behind them where the scraggle trees start is the end of our prop and goes up a hill where they have at least 2 dens that I've watched in the past.
I also thought they could belong to some of the orchard workers, because we get new uncollared, intact animals here every year about this time, but they're normally more friendly. These guys skulk like coyotes, but don't look quite as lean or hungry as the yotes we've had in the yard in the past...

Oh they can do that kind of damage easy... They need to find the owners if there are any because they can pay pay pay for the animals.
If it turns out to be orchard workers, there may be a problem getting them to pay, pay, pay for the animals. I may be mistaken, but aren't orchard workers low income and transient?
