Well I have had a change of plans and won't be doing the Elma show. One of the reasons is that I just noticed that I only have about a dozen items to take. Plus need to get lots made up for the Lavender Fest in OR next month.

Zgoatlady When I talked to Larry Urban he said 10'x10' he thought would be about $15 for the day. IF he had space.

Right behind them where the scraggle trees start is the end of our prop and goes up a hill where they have at least 2 dens that I've watched in the past.

I also thought they could belong to some of the orchard workers, because we get new uncollared, intact animals here every year about this time, but they're normally more friendly. These guys skulk like coyotes, but don't look quite as lean or hungry as the yotes we've had in the yard in the past...http://bestsmileys.com/clueless/1.gif

Oh they can do that kind of damage easy... They need to find the owners if there are any because they can pay pay pay for the animals.

If it turns out to be orchard workers, there may be a problem getting them to pay, pay, pay for the animals. I may be mistaken, but aren't orchard workers low income and transient?

Nope Im not up on the hill. Im actually right next to the Smythe Cedar Mill, and one property away from the Salmon Hatchery. 99% of the wood is directly off my property. There is one maple pole, the rest of the posts are all black locust taken off of my property. lol Will last a lifetime, and I was chastised by the Mill owner for using such expensive wood for posts! He told me that each 8' section of log, is right around $350. So Im kinda thinking that I have THE most expensive round pen around here! LOL

but the landlord wants it all gone.​

Definitely low income, and while we have a large number of resident workers, they are supplemented heavily by transients starting around now and steadily increasing thru harvest. I think the more impossible task would be matching a dog to a worker. Almost every orchard has it's own collection of workers shacks and the dogs wander the entire area. I seriously doubt the lawyer will be able to collect ANYthing unless she has some extravagant type of insurance on her mini-zoo. This morning there are only three animals in the field. There are a couple of barns, so hopefully she's secured the rest of the sheep, goats, peacocks and emu.

on another note, has anyone heard or had dealings with the privett hatchery in New mexico? Would love to know if anybody knows anything about them.
