I was right. Dr. says its Pleurosy. Left lung is more inflamed than the right. But BOY dose it ever hurt. only 9 more days of prednisone, Im supposed to be taing vicodine as well, but that med maes me sic as well. So I will tough it out with just the steroid. Sure makes shoveling manure and dumping the wheelbarrow a litteral pain... Let alone my own farm chores and house hold chores, and taing care of DD... I thin ive gotten maby 10 hours of sleep this week.

On top of being sick, my clients are late paying me, my flock is being fed vegi scraps and horse grains at the moment. Ive been milking a quarter tank of gas for the past 4 days, and I havnt had any help excersizing the horses. I tried to ride last night, but big 'ol Red was WAY to full of himself and I was in to much pain. About got dumped when he started to crow hop at the lope, I started to get mad, so I said enough is enough. No excersize under saddle for anyone unless my sister or step dad get off there rears and come help me. I just dont have the strength to work my job, my farm, care for DD, and excersize 5 horses. Gotta wait until my lungs are better.

I might be able to sell them to him if they eat their weight in slugs. We are swimming in slugs! My dog only eats so many. And then you have to put up with her slim danglers! YUCK! She almost looks rabid with that stuff slobbered all over her face!
Do all Muscovys have the bumpily red bills? Kinda creepy to me! But quiet is good!

Muscovies will eat slugs. My small flocks favorite wild snac was frogs though. Poor little hoppers.

I would come over and help with chores and excercising the ponies! I may not be in the greatest shape but I can ride. And I can do chores!!! I would so be there!

Thanks KM and Haller! Things will get better, it just all has fallen into my lap at once, and can be a bit overwhelming. My clients on the other hand, have absolutely NO excuse for paying me late! And when I wrote out the contract I should have put a late fee clause in. But I didnt think that far ahead I guess.

Ah poor little hummingbird, keeps flying up to my window and peering in. lol

I'm getting more spitz eggs from Monica tomorrow. I hope I get a couple of pullets out of them. I'm thinking I'll put some in my incubator, adn some under Ginger. She's been broody for a couple of months now.
