I made DD "Scrambled Crepes" with strawberry Jam for her birthday breakfast, then we cleaned up from her party (too tired on Sunfay - I cleaned the outdoors then and the inside today; still need to mop), then baked GF cupcakes to bring to the party we went to tonight. I did not know what I was doing, just added random stuff to the mixer and baked. Looked good, I thought they tasted good too until I had some "Death by Chocolate" then mine tasted like something from weight watchers. Met some nice new neighbors. They just put up a greenhouse that is supposed to be wind rated to 85 mph ... we're all waiting for it to blow down. They said it is made in Auburn, so maybe it will make it.

I guess that didn't come off the way I meant it. Good for you for having the strength to stop it. Sorry that this was forced on your DS. Hope he is able to cope with it and who knows if he (or anybody) will ever know why his father pushed him away.

CR, I know what you meant by it. No worries. Thanks! It took me almost 11 years to take said highway. Not an easy decision no matter what.
I guess I am going to have to break it to Ron and all you men out there......it IS the woman that gets to lay down the law! Lol!

Yup you are so right Kim (just as you ladies always are [in your own minds] ).

I don't get to say how far the train goes or when the whistle blows but let the dang thing jump the track and see who catches heck.

We are planning on moving to WA. Just because we want to. We love the Estes Park/Rmnp of Colorado but it is to costly for us. Washington has mountain with the added perk of the Ocean close by.

just to mention, my dad was from Independence KS, and he still has cousins and their descendants in Sedan

I have been to Independence, Been to a few Pontiac Indian upraising drag racing/ car show in Ark city. My dad will be the only family left in Kansas after we leave.

Central Indiana and Eastern Kansas probably have the same type of weather. We moved here from Redwood Valley, Ca in 79, I was around 13, I am still not use to it. 70* temp would be grand.

You and I are the same age. I grew up in CA as well, but in the Bay Area.

Cool.
I live in the bay area (Pittsburg) in the late 60's early 70's.

and I was in the Bay Area (San Carlos) from 54 to 58 -- then (horrors) Oklahoma from 58 to 61 (survived a tornado), glad to get back to the west coast even if it was still hot in the summer (Sacramento area) --- a DRY heat, y'know, and tule fogs in the winter

no chickens, we were always renting, never knew when my dad would be transferred ...

I have live in the Sacramento area (Rancho Cordova) also. We move from Pittsburg to Rancho Cordova and then we went to Utah.
This has got me thinking about all the places I have lived. Now I am making a time line of when and were I lived.
