Someone was talking about getting too technical a little while back. I was wondering if I got a little too technical on a thread.

I hope I did not disgust too many people.

So I went in today for my 36/wk appt. The baby has dropped and the doctor said I won't make it 3 more weeks--he's thinking within the next two weeks I'll go into labor. He did a quick u/s to check the fluid levels and the EIFs are still there but NOW--now he spotted a HOLE IN HEART?? He said it's usually something that closes up & resolves on it own after birth...but WTH???

This wasn't seen two weeks ago on my u/s.

Or on my 3D u/s in Spokane.

You'll know in a couple of weeks. Try not to worry too much. It's amazing what modern science can do.

and yes, you will be so so so glad to be back to your normal center of gravity

take advantage of every offer of help, even when you've been through it before, you never realize how TIRED you are, as your body rebalances itself

keep faith, everything WILL come out just fine

I know.....but now I'm just so worried....of course, he couldn't get a good look at her face because she's just too low....he measured her head and looked at everything else again and everything else seems to be measuring "normal." But I'm still so worried.

Thank you! This is my first....my mom is coming up for at least two weeks (maybe longer, depending on how fast I heal) and my dad & sisters for a week...DH will only have 2 weeks with the baby before he goes back to work (he doesn't have to because he's got so much sick leave) but he won't miss work even for the care of his newborn or healing wife.
