I was told that if it doesn't pop it is good, but I am too chicken to try.

- you need to leave the door open after you run a load. Most front-loading machines have this issue. (I have the Whirlpool Duet). My sister has the has the LG. She told me to leave the door open (and it states to do that in their ownders manual, but not in the Whirlpool one). My sister loved her LG, hers is quite a bit newer than mine (mine is 9 years old), so technology has changed a bit, but then hers caught on fire one day when she ran to the store after she put a load in. Thankfully the fire was limited to the machine, and other than an acrid stench throughout the house and smoke stains in the laundry room, it did not do much damage to the house.
I line-dry when I can.

Mine was starting to smell mildewy so we ran these cleaning tablets through it and now it smells fine. Got the tablets at Walmart.
I don't leave mine open at night like I should.

Very intriguing mixture of colors even at this age, mother nature is the supream artist.

Just finished up a 12 part DVD on the information encoded in DNA. "Chance" is no longer a reasonable scientific conclusion. Check out Steven C. Meyer of The Discovery Institute near Seattle. He's a Cambridge PHd who has studied cosmology, biology, and metaphysics for his entire adult life. It will definitely give you food for thought!

Welcome, is nice to have another on here from the same side of the mtns. I am in Omak. But, sorry...no silkies. Someone on here will be able to help you out though....I am sure of it.

Technically I am from the same side of the mountains as you.

Well, some of the mountains: Spokane is still west of the Selkirk, Bitterroot, Garnite, and the Crazy Ranges, as well as the Grand Teton, Wind River, and Wasatch, at least, until you get to your home; Yakima and Wenatchee are also west of the Blues the way I'm east of the Olympics.

I am in Bonney Lake and if anyone wants to get together for a meet and greet cup of coffee, let me know. There is sure to be a Starbucks between you and I.

Illia: I tell you what.....You are amazing. I want to gleen all the info off of you I can. That chick is only hours old and you already know what it is. Want me to tell you what I see? A cute fuzzy chick that looks like a chipmunk. That is far as my knowledge goes. Don't have a clue what you are seeing or how you are seeing it. I can understand the "rumpless"...(maybe)

but the "duck wing"....how are you seeing this? What does this mean? Sorry for my illiteracy...I am still absorbing all this information (Like a sponge)
