Oh, no no,no, no...that one I clicked on, and came up with replacements all right- three of the most desired only available as custom propagation, at $45 apiece.

On the other hand, the "bands" which are the same size plants Heirloom sells, are the same price.

I need to get a job so that I can have more flowers. So does anyone know of a job that one can do? I can't stand on my feet more than 10 to 20 minutes, and I have ADD really bad, and I take narcotics for the pain. That seems to limit a lot of ideas for work. On the plus side I can remember peoples names and numbers most of the time. I also try very hard to be easy going and to get along with anybody.

I just really want more flowers.

Okay I can't imagine planting a 1000 bulbs. But I did plant several hundred one year. We went to see the tulip fields one years and thought it would be fun to plant a field of bulbs in miniature. I planted rows or red and yellow tulips. They are still coming up in that flower bed and in pots all around the house. I get a bit of a giggle out the red and yellow tulips each year.

So I guess there has to be some small benefits to being stuck in suburbia.

On the bad day I 'll have to think about the tulips a bit harder.

That is a fair price for one that just started or hasn't started laying yet. $15.00 is the limit for me. I won't pay over that for one. I see people on criagslist asking $20 & $25 per bird. thats TOO much. but $15.00 is fair.
Two weeks ago I bought two six month old (not laying yet) speckled Sussex for $5.00 each
