No, that would be the stupid clothes-pins which do not open up far enough to be used for towels or jeans, let alone for hanging up towels with overlapping corners, let alone strong enough to hold clothing on the line in the wind.
I had a bunch of clothes-pins I bought at a garage sale, that were strong enough to use two-at-a-time for wool blankets. I should have kept the springs when the wood wore out and learned to make new wooden bits.
