I am thank you... DH was down with it for 2 days. No kids as of yet..thank good ness. Anything coming of "the advice" yet? Weather will be the only thing that keeps me away..everything else is good to go.

Besides I HAVE TO COME...I have Serama eggs waiting for me. I am so excited.

Glad to hear the biopsy went well. Fun aren't they? I say that sarcastically.

Great on the biopsy, and the chicken loving buyer. Would you leave them?

Heck yeah, if it helped sell my house!

I can always buy more eggs from my BYC buddies! And it gives me an excuse to hatch more!

Did you have the Stereo Tactic Biopsy??
If you did, it is pretty awesome!

Missed it, darn: I had to go get some groceries and little things like reading glasses (cheapos from Marshalls: three for ten dollars. I've tried the dollar store ones but they're too cheap even for me) and a pot to replant the poor abused Dendrobium in, and get back in time to check coops for water tightness.

I was hoping to get a new winter hat, but ye gods and little fishes there are some awful hats out there this year! Beige tweed with a row of hot pink, turquoise, and chartreuse granny squares, for instance, or something that looked like a pile of random black, brown and magenta eyelash yarn crocheted with a size 10 hook- both of those had ear flaps, to boot. I found one hat I sort of liked, but it was itchy. I came home and made another valliant search through my sweater pile and found the brown cashmere beanie I got at The Rack in May on deep discount- if it fit better that would be better.

thank goodness.
We have had to SSS. Over 10 years ago...my husband and I had a batch of birds...mixture of everything, and DH pet turkey that had to weigh in at least 50 lbs if not more.

A group of marauding huskies came and innialated them all. The turkey and most all the birds. Today, I can still see the look on DH face when he walked in the back door after going out back to lock up his birds and to find them all massacred. My husband is all testosterone and is a big guy...it broke my heart.

That night we used the turkey carcass as bait. Husband waited up with the shot gun. Sure enough they came back. He went out to confront them. They didn't run. They packed up and stood their ground, bared teeth and growled at him. They were not feral...all healthy. had on collars. He shot and killed 4 with 1 shot. Course he also took out the horse water trough. That was just the first one...we have had others. I like dogs. I don't want to shoot them. But, unfortunately, I would go to jail of I shot the stupid owners.

Found out later they were causing havac up and down the road..all kinds of problems.

I was in route to the hospital to get my X-Rays..but she did tell me it (the tape) would still be available..somewhere on their site.
Julie has long red beautiful hair & is very cute!!

Cowgirl: Thank you...yes he did. I just got the latest...they plan on moving him Sunday to St. Luke's for rehab. He is making leaps and bounds improvement daily. Yesterday he was able to talk a little....he said, "Get me out, I want to go home"....LOL. True to style for him.

That is AWESOME at this point. Keep in mind that "normally" the progress starts a little slow then really gains and then tapers off and "in general" at about 6 months improvements are not very noticeable anymore. I am not saying 6 months is it. Like many will say. That is not true some stop earlier but others gain for up to a year or more.

Thank you!

I also do pottery. Got to get into the studio and make Christmas gifts.
Poison Mug - each mug is a different colour, and has a different poison name on it

Little jewel pot - all different colours with different "crystal" tops and insides
https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/76434_blue_jewel_pot3.jpg

Pebble dish with luminary - after I made this one, hubby bought me a rock tumpler and a ton of nice rocks, so now I do all sorts of crystals, agates, jasper rocks etc.

place settings - all different sizes (hubby makes most of them)
