CR. ATT has Nokia phones that you can buy for $16.00 that are not on a contract.
If you don't need the internet and all the other bells & whistles go get yourself one of those and just switch your sim card and you good to go.
I've had mine for over a year now on construction sites so don't believe the sales people telling you they won't last.
Mine has fallen off scaffolling etc.
They just want you to buy a contract phone.

They have lots of colours EVEN BRIGHT PINK !!! Which yes I do have.

Home depot had a big display last time we were there, and all colors!!!
Even plaid, in greens or purples or pinks.
Some with big flowers, and all colors of day glo.
