Well I am heading for bed. Have a wonderful morning, and you all should not call me to early.

I think that eenie is in town. I may have to hunt her down. I know where she lives in this town.

I just remembered that I still have to put sheets on my bed. This is terrible!!!! I washed the sheets, and that is a good thing. But I hate putting sheets on the bed by myself. I wish the dogs could help. The baby chicks are asleep under Miss Tulay. I don't think I have ever seen a hen this happy.

Nice page Rainwolf! Your garden was very lush - I'm so envious of people who can grow... One of these days I'll have to get a BYC page up. Good job.

I didn't even need to check the outside thermometer to know it's cold out there; instead of patrolling the yard and working on his escape tunnel, Griz was waiting when I opened the back door.

18.8F overnight low, ugh.

Typically enough, the AP online coverage of last night's helicopter crash indicates that it occured on Mt. Rainier and not near Rainier, WA.

I have heard that roosters will crow as an alert as well as random crowing. For this reason I have been getting up at 3 am lately to see what the roos are crowing about and see no reason why they should. They will stop once I go down there and will not start up again until around 5 am. In the summer they usually will begin their morning crowing between 3 or 4 am but it will start to get light soon. It is pitch black now at 3 am and will not be light for several more hours, so does anybody have any idea why they all get going in the middle of the night then stop and not start up til the normal time? This is not usual for them. They have only been doing it the last week.

I don't know, and all three of mine have been crowing at 3am for weeks now; I'd blame something like a neighbor turning on a bright light except the way the three pens are positioned none of them can see the same neighbors, even.

Blame the neighbors anyway - it doesn't have to be their fault for us to blame them

Mine are normally quiet at night but Michelle has a big old Roo that pretty much crows all the time.

Ya know, I was going to add to my post that I don't need any JOKES! LOL That must be why they quiet down when I get there. They were calling me!
