Good Morning everyone! (I know it is noon, but by the time I get things done, ie chickens fed, dogs let out, etc etc etc) I now can start enjoying my Sunday 'morning'.

Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas.

I was wondering....

I am wanting to add to my poultry collection with new babies this spring. When is a good time to start looking? I waited too long this past year and wasn't able to find the breeds I wanted.

So I thought I would start asking around now and put some marks on my calendar.

The big thing of my 'wish' list is Royal Palm turkey poults.

I found out they sell out very fast!

Thanks,

Dang! You are a posting machine! LOL, don't feel bad. Posts keep us going. Even if some are elswhere.

I'm coming up on my 2nd anniversary on BYC! Jan 1st was when I joined. Is that good luck or bad luck? I didn't even plan it. Whoo hoo, a whopping 32 posts a month!

Well, I think I finished the Christmas decor. Tree is BEAUTIMUS! Now I need to clean the house. Want to surprize the boys when they get home. They reported the Snowboarding is awesome and there is not the lift lines they expected either. So. Yay for mom! I scored some points for a great Christmas present. Now to figure out what to put under the tree.

Oh, BTW Rustler, tasted that Snake River STUFF we discussed. Yum. Can't seem to find cinnamon oil anywhere though short of Wallyworld. It's in the opposite direction I usually go so haven't looked yet but none of the grocery stores I've been to have it.

Hey it took me 39 months to post all of those. I don't feel so bad since there are some who have almost half as many posts as me BUT they have been here less than a year.

So: bought an unsheared doug fir for ten bucks, and came home to an Agnetha* egg.

Much darker than any of Sylvia's have ever been, and not that much smaller.

*Anni-Frid, actually, Agnetha is not the one with the red, red comb and the POL behavior.

yes, I prefer the natural growth Doug fir myself, to me that is a CHRISTMAS TREE, while these others are .... not

one year I did find a natural blue spruce, and that was beautiful and fragrant, and MISERABLE to hang decorations on

Brian and Hailey have departed, after football, tug-o-war with the dog, and a rousing game of Slap Jack

I'm snugged down in the recliner for the duration, or at least until anyone else comes by

annoyed at myself too, I left it too late to switch my roster at Fantasy Football around, and the Seahawks managed to chew up 29 points on defense today, just what I had needed to win my match ... no way San Francisco will put up numbers like that

oh well, off to see how some of the others do
