CL. No, I was saying the whole IOBIT looks different after last update.
When I gave you instructions last time it was set up a bit different thus different instructions.
Tool box is part of the download of IOBIT.
You don't download toolbox it comes with iobit.

yes, you have to figure there isn't all that much room in a chicken brain ... not much room for memory or thinking, mostly just what is "wired in" from their genetics ... so they "remember" only the most recent things, or the most traumatic

So I went in the coop and Rocky didn't back up. I tried to herd him into the dog crate with the tennis racquet but he pushed past it. Then he flew at my face. Fortunately, he was off balance from dodging the tennis racquet so he came in on my left. And since my backhand was never any good, I punched him.
That gave me some breathing room to refill the water. And the weenie was hiding in the corner behind some of the girls - but at least he didn't come at me.
He's sooooo gone.
Take NO CHANCES for you or anybody else. He needs to be culled. My self that bird would have been dispatched before I posted. Sorry that this has happened to you but hey there are good and bad in all things. I am glad that you were able to think with your head and not your heart.

ulp !! of course, what was I thinking ??? maybe we should all go kidnap that nasty neighbor of yours, or buy her place, deed it to you, and you could easily have the chickens on the double lot ... (wishful thinking of course)

The coop and run are not movable. The coop is a converted shed with a poured concrete floor and the run is surrounded by chainlink with 6" wide (I don't know how deep) cement under the whole thing (no digging under) and 1/2" hardware cloth around the bottom. It also has chicken wire over the top.

The offer was for anyone that needed it during the snow. If anyone reports me, the city inspector will not be by until all the snow is gone.

I'm sorry. It's rough to cull a rooster you had high hopes for...trust me, I know. We had BIG plans for that crele Chantecler rooster...

Sorry I did not intend to make it sound easy. While I have never had to go that far with any chickens I have been there with other critters. I know it is not easy and please forgive me if I made it sound like an easy choice or if I came across as harsh. That was not what I meant.

very unhappy birdies here... they do not like snow! many were flying to the feed area rather then walking and landing on me rather then the snow.. :gig
I took pity and fed them by the coop door and they are all inside now only coming out for a drink or feed then dashing back inside!

Got a good 3 inches and still snowing... and it is a compact 3 inches since its wet snow

Snow's been coming down hard here. DD just went out and measured 5". I guestimated 4.....I just came in from chicken duties. By the time I cleared off all the chicken wire covers over runs, the first one I had cleared off had another inch of snow already! ACK!!!!

Our power has been flickering on/off all morning too.

Just put on a fire just in case.

Stay warm and dry everyone!

Mine definitely prefer the covered runs to the snow.

see after you socked him one he had to go rethink that last idea, sock him again next time, follow up that backswing with another. you should be able to grab him after that and stick him in the crate.
