I'm not mechanic type.
Yet, these sites have saved me from many repair bills.........

Appliance Repair

I use them too - My washer gave an error code that I looked up in the manual that came with the book. The book said to call their service rep and have a new pump installed.

I wanted a second opinion, so I searched the error code, and on one some site (forgot which one) there was a repair man who posted that it was really a drain error and left a very detailed description on how to repair it. I fixed my own washer! I don't know how much I saved myself, but I think a lot. One bit of advice - if you buy a front-loading washer, get the drqwer that can go underneath. I did not. That drawer can hold a tub or maybe even a bucket that can hold quite a bit of water, and you will need that if your washer won't drain. I had to use lots of towells and other laundry to soak up the gallons of water that came out of the machine when I needed to clean the filter in order to get the machine to drain. a cookie sheet barely fits under my machine, and a cookie sheet barely holds any water!

I did not marry a handy man (realised too late it is not a genetic male trait). I owned my own small house before I met him, and I purchased and installed a garage door opener myself. He did not have a garage door opener on his garage, so he bought one and did not hire anyone to install it out of pride because he knew I had done mine myself. He got frustrated trying to figure it out and would not accept help from me. 8 years later when we moved out of the house he owned, the thing was still sitting on the garage floor partially assembled and I hired someone to complete it so we could sell the house.

Ok so Ive never posted pictures, well not in a long time.
So here it goes.
Hobbs looked better before the storm but here he is.. I love him and as you will see he's the guy got to be in your face to see what your doing MOM.....  To big to get in my face, creeps me out knowing what they can do to you. But I love him!!!

Gorgeous!!!!! He's very handsome. I'll have to post some of my Orps. I took pic's a week or so ago before the storm, but haven't uploaded them yet.

Some of our English Orps, pic's taken last week:

Our blue cockerel Sterling, with all of our girls.

Our 3 blue girls. Penelope on the left is Sterling's mom, and the other two blue girls are her daughters.

Baxter is our main man in this flock and also Sterling and the two blue girls Daddy.

One of the new blue pullets has started laying! We got our first pullet egg from their coop this week!

Gorgeous! especially the 2 tone rooster.

I have various colored rings we put on our birds when hatched to tell them apart, they are spiral (plastic) spring like rings and come in different colors, but you will have to upgrade to a bigger ring as they grow.

I never seen those before I will have to look for them. Thanks Bunches

I used colored zip ties from Harbor Freight -- they are DURABLE --- several of the pullets didn't like them to begin with, and pecked at them, they stayed on (I had previously tried some plastic spiral key rings and those disappeared within days

OK Guys time to pick your brains.... Now that I am gonna have 5 Rhode Island Red Hens,  instead of just the one, I was thinking how am I gonna tell them all apart?.... Does anyone have any ideas I have seen the metal leg clamps with numbers you can order online but I was hoping for an easier way to tell them apart ( that way my kiddos would have an easier time). I have heard of a few people using different color zip ties. Whats your thoughts on this? Any Ideas?

Colored zip ties
Just be careful as they grow or you will end up with a footless bird.

Not sure, I take it in, they tell me what it needs, I say ok, then I pick it up! Is there a place to look on the computer? It was a reasonable cost. It wasn't $120. I pretty sure. I'll go look up the receipt and get back to you.

So how much RAM do you have now?
How much did it cost ?
and
Where did you have it done ?
My sister says she took hers to Best Buy to have RAM added...and it was $80 for the board (parts) and some odd amount for installation ($40 ?)
For what it is worth, last time I was IN my message 'box' it suddenly flipped out & a new page came up on the Silky Breed thread (

)
It took another 10 minutes for me to get BACK to the PM I had been reading.........

It takes about 6 seconds to post a smiley after I click the smiley I want, it takes about 8 seconds to pull the smiley box up !
