I candle the eggs I have in my new incubator. and saw one has veins and something moving.
I put all the eggs that my broody was sitting on when I put the Marans in. I'll be candling them again at 10 days and if I don't see any bouncing chicks I am tossing them. I am running the incubator just in case. I really want these cuckoo Marans.

At 10 days you will see veining....and maybe some swimming...unless they are not incubated right.
GOOD LUCK and OBTW there is always more !

The white ones are a barnvelder crossed with a white leghorn hen, I'm seeing what happens if you cross my good foraging larger framed chicken with a high strung egg laying machine. we shall see.

I have to research this drug.I hate taking any drugs at all !
Hate it !!!
I will not even take pain meds after surgery or when I tore all my ligaments outta my knee.
I do not like being "fuzzy headed" and not in control of me.
Even cold meds bother me..that horrible "being in a fish bowl" feeling..yuck.
But I am researching this drug to see what it is & all side effects.
I may toss the bottle in the drawer with the Sertraline & all the others I have been prescribed.

your better off taking them, they list lots of side effects for everything on the market, my drugs, side effect is cancer amongst other things. odds are slim. I would rather be normal that terrified of medication. whats funny is the one drug is used to cure cancer, but its side effect is another cancer lol

why take eggs away from the broody? they have much better hatch rates than incubators.

On a little different note I did get a call for a project job where they are looking for certified welders. Good pay and perdiem.The catch is it was North of Bellingham. No way I can do that have nobody to take care of DW.
