I get yellow, blue & red bandanna saddles from Louisescountrycloset.com...........................for several years now.

I need one or two. or three.

Wow. Just did my first check of the weather maps today, and WOW am I glad I don't live along the Chehalis; I was at Porter three weeks ago and all the low fields were under water all ready, and now there's a huge storm in the Boisfort and up into the headwaters of the Chehalis.
An inch of rain yesterday, ugh, and I went to sleep with wet hair after being out fiddling with waterproofing over the EEs and bailing water off the sheep's tarp (like me, he hasn't recovered from the ice storm, when I had to cut him out of his pen with scissors because the tarp had turned into a glacier).
Hey, that's us! Yes, it has been a very "flood-y" year this year. Some fields almost always have standing water in them. It's really only a flood when that water starts flowing! Keeps the area from turning into another bedroom community.

Anybody going to the Spring fair in Puyallup this weekend ? suppose to have nice weather!

Tamara
are your girls showing any of their chickens?

Nope. Emily is teaching the poultry class tomorrow for the Livestock 101 class being put on by WSU in Machias, so that's tomorrow. Sunday I hope to do nothing and sit in the sun!!!!

So glad to hear the little Miss Emily will be arriving any day now!!!! Looking forward to pics!!!

Ogress, glad you are feeling better. Sorry you are feeling inpatient! It will all be better soon!!!

CL, LOVE the saddles!!! I got some last year for my Orps, and I need to put them on this weekend. My English Orp's are fine, but my Split Blacks (lavender project) Orp's are very bare on top. In fact, I need to do a test batch for fertility on my Orp eggs, because none of the girls look worn, and I haven't seen Baxter on them lately, so not sure what is going on there.

Hope everyone at Stevenson is having fun!!! Soooo wish I could have gone but it just wasn't in the cards.

Busy few days here with kids and there activities. Feeling really worn out and have some sinus sludge going on. DH and I went out for dinner and he said he would take the girls tomorrow to this poultry class Emily is teaching. The younger girls will be helpers. They have to leave pretty early so I'm very thankful he's taking them so I can sleep in!!! LOL! But then we have to go bowling in the afternoon as Shannon, middle DD is the co-Activities director for their
4-H club, and that is what they decided to do as a club activity this month. Then last night was Public Presentations, which our club was hosting, so we were up at the fairgrounds helping with that from 4:30-9:30!!! Looking forward to next week which is much more open.

Well we only had 3 of the bantam salmon faverolle's hatch. But they are fluffy and happy little chickees. PRAYING that I've got at least one girl in the bunch!!!! Got all the brooders shuffled around today and locked down on my lavender ameraucana eggs tonight. So excited about them hatching!!!

Hope everyone is able to enjoy the sunshine this weekend!!!

I saw that and thought maybe getting it and converting into a bigger brooder. But DH already has materials to do that this weekend

The birds are all checked in at Stevenson. Everything looks really nice and organized. Can't wait for a beautiful weekend in a gorgeous area! Sun and chickens- doesn't get better than that!

Hope you all have a good time at the show! I wish I could have gone. My Oldest DH plays Bass Guitar and had his first gig last night at the Old Redmond Firehouse last night. It was great! 4 teen bands and at lot of noise....um, I mean music!

They all actually sounded good, some better than others.

Enjoy the nice weekend everyone!

Mikey we are looking for a 70s series GMC or chev 3/4 T manual, with small block set up, or no engine......(or no trans)........we have a very happy 350 waiting for a truck............and we need the truck to haul the lumber for our house.

I got a package from England yesterday, from a friend who saw this mug and decided I needed it, so of course I had to get all artsy again:

(Yes, I will wash it before I use it, good grief!)
Lucky you that is great? Wish I knew someone over there to send me stuff..
My son got a car he has a truck that's around the 70 but it has two lift kits on it and is a 4x4 want me to ask him how much he wants for it. Oh the only reason he's selling it is it has a lot of play in the steering
