Well I have a list of chores a mile long to get done the next couple of days, but it seemed a lot more important to play with the chicks and start trying to get good identifying photos of them. Priorities people! These chicks don't stay little forever you know! I can't believe how much the Seramas have changed just since Mother's Day when they were born.
These are my first Seramas, and here's what I love about them, besides the obvious - being that they are so tiny and irresistably cute - but when I pick them up to try and take photos, they allow themselves to be picked up easily. It is only when I put them down to take a photo that they squawk! As soon as they are back in my hand, they settle down and often go to sleep within seconds. This is incredibly appealing to one's instinct to nurture...
