Hi Everyone Im days behind on whats going on.
On Sat night I feel when I went out to milk the goat, hubby had to help me up wasnt good. Left ankle I thought I broke it didnt ( Im a big baby) still hurts when I walk on it but not as bad. Monday got a bad sore throat and Tue called in sick cant talk. Husband told me to go to Dr so I did and have some meds to take now to get be better.
Got on the stupid comp today and my personal email wont open so bet I have something. Not my week.

Oh no, Cheri! Hope you're feeling much better soon and the ankle heals quickly.

Especially the Silkies. I was looking at my one blue silkie and it is developing crossbeak. I am so bummed!
I was kind of hoping it was a boy and could use it for possible breeding.
If it doesn't get so bad that it can't eat or drink, I will probably keep it as a pet. We shall see.
I don't look forward to possibly having to cull it.

All my girls are doing ok, still laying well in their 3rd year.
They are so enthralling our neighbor just got 5 chicks from My Pet Chicken 2wk ago.
Been thinking about finding our banty a new home now that she lost her friend. The LF girls pick on her a lot.

Anyone in need of a fiesty, itty bitty Araucana (tailless but no tufts)?

Managed to help hatch my Silkie/EE cross. But it looks like the head is deformed. =( So we shall see. we lost power during this hatch so that might have contribute it. still waiting on my silkie. Also had to help it out but letting it do the push out. My Little tiny chick is doing awesome.

rain rain go away!!! Found out most of my credits will transfer to my local college. WOOHOO.. And I can even get more spanish classes like I want. They just count as electives. This makes me a happy girl. around here if I don't learn spanish, getting a good paying job is almost impossible.

Today was a great day.

MY DD took THREE years of Spanish in High school

she can now count to FIFTY

thats about all she remembers

I took 4 years in HS. I cannot speak much of it....BUT I understand more than I thought I could. My MIL speaks Spanish and I can usually keep up!

I took Spanish (1 yr) in Jr. High. Didn't help.

Then I joined the army (ok I was 27) - they taught me Russian and Serbo-Croatian - Now I need spanish .. lol

You're even cooler than I already thought you were! I was an Arabic Linguist (Air Force) and went to DLI in Monterrey. Did you go there too??

Argh! I'm sooooo bored...where is everyone?! I've had 1 or 2 clingy sick kids on me all day long and now we're all just sitting here doing nothing. If I get up, he screams. If I talk to him, he screams. If I offer him food, he screams. Wowza. HFM disease sucks! Poor boy.
