It wasn't free, but I think I scored.
Instead of $300+ to double the size of my run.
I just snagged 7 chainlink panels off of Craigslist for $250 (about 1/2 price) So now I can triple the run size. I'll feel better about the chickens being locked up so much.
Now to plan the dustbath area, a salad bar, and other enriching ideas.
The woman was very nice, and is interested in chickens as well. I sent her here for research.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
Then the park and home for the little man's nap. He's out cold and the bigs are playing hide n seek in the backyard. The chickens keep giving away their locations because they are following both of them!
How does one go about transporting a couple dozen fat and full grown birds for the slaughter?
