So be very careful. Have it in writing that if they miss one week yes one week that the chickens are your and you can do what you want with them.. Ive rented to people and they can walk all over you and if you do anything wrong they can sue you not if they do anything wrong... Just please be very careful...Early this evening, a Vietnamese woman shows up at my front door crying her eyes out. I don't know her from Adam. Between the accent and the sobbing, she was very difficult to understand. It seems she lives in the nearby trailer park. Her landlord has told her to get rid of her chickens. She was hoping I would let them live here where she can visit them. The only other people willing to take them wanted to eat them. She has a friend coming to build a coop and run in my backyard on Sunday. I'm out of my mind, but what can I do? I'm just a softie. She and her daughter will come and clean all the coops every week. She has nine hens. I suggested she ask her landlord if he would let her keep her three banties. I hope he will.
I had a family years ago that had a girl she wanted to pay for her goats she wanted one for sure and maybe one more. so it took her like 6 months to pay the goat off was supose to be more like a month.. When she came to get her goat she said no I paid for 2 goats she didnt! Her dad was a huge man and said give my daughter the other goat I said no ( the other goat was PG by that time and about due) I told them to take the one goat and get off my land or Id be happy to tell them the bill for feeding her the whole time. I was so upset about letting them have her! So please just be very careful, and yes I do know there are a lot of nice people out there that will do the right thing..
