I have over 500 used retaining wall blocks that were used for raised flower beds. I also have over 200 pavers (see pic). This is free to the first person who wants to load them up and take them away. They have a little dirt and moss on them but overall are in good shape. Please email if interested so we can set up a time and date for pickup.

These be great around bottom of your run. Or use them like they did.

The next door neighbors just got back from vacation. They were amazed how big the BOs had gotten. They asked me:
"Just how radioactive is their food" lol!
Imagine how amazed they'd be if they were Cornish meat birds instead of Orps!

Wow thanks Greg! I contacted the guy just now. I really hope they're still available. Cost is the only thing keeping us from putting pavers around our entire coop/run setup!

Speaking of Cornish X............my second batch of 28 is getting awfully BIG................they are on week 7 and are close to 4-5# pullets and closer to 6# for the cockerels.
Butcher dates are Labor day week end for cockerels and pullets on weekend of the 8th & 9th......GOTTA get together with JustBugged & get the plucker back.
I still have not heard how her Freezer Camp Day went ?
Anyone there ?

Ha Ha ....DH's buddy who keeps e-mailing & braggin about his good luck fishing....I returned an e-mail to.
I asked if I dressed Einstein up, and packed his cooler & fishing gear, and set him on the dock at South Bend, will ya take him out fishin' ?
He said YES !
So I can stay & get paperwork done (waiting on 1 more contractor bid) and Einstein can fish.
I gotta have at least 3 salmon in the freezer, even if I have to buy them.....

Love to be out on the water, but chipmunks have moved into the exhaust port on the I/O motor on the big boat...and the little boat has not been touched since last season and trailer had rust in the SEALED RED EYE BEARINGS last year...probably frozen solid this year..............

I was quite shocked this morning when I responded to what I thought was a chicken-chicken scuffle but actually was a hawk/chicken scuffle! It was one of my little Belgians and one of those blasted Cooper's hawks. She was giving it hell! The hawk gave up and left when my roo charged it (I was trying to keep up!). Dawn's Brabanter really is a charming fellow and I'm glad that I could give him a home. Luckily, my Belgian only suffered from a few scratches and punctures and lots of missing feathers. Poor thing probably has PTSD...but at least she's in one piece!
That is one brave little Belgian! Hopefully the hawk will not try again.
