First day of special ed kindergarten. He did awesome keepng his clothes on, so I let him have this playhouse I refurbished yesterday.

Hmm, major headache today. I had gluten this weekend and generally the effects of gluten generally last a whole week for me Gonna be rough on vacation too! Guess we'll be cooking for ourselves a lot instead of relaxing.

Ha Ha ....DH's buddy who keeps e-mailing & braggin about his good luck fishing....I returned an e-mail to.
I asked if I dressed Einstein up, and packed his cooler & fishing gear, and set him on the dock at South Bend, will ya take him out fishin' ?
He said YES !
So I can stay & get paperwork done (waiting on 1 more contractor bid) and Einstein can fish.
I gotta have at least 3 salmon in the freezer, even if I have to buy them.....

Love to be out on the water, but chipmunks have moved into the exhaust port on the I/O motor on the big boat...and the little boat has not been touched since last season and trailer had rust in the SEALED RED EYE BEARINGS last year...probably frozen solid this year..............

You should stop goofing off, put the paper work away and go fishing already. Life is too short. Relaxation is more important than the work at hand at times. This is one of those times, it you put it off you have to wait for the next year's run.

Thank you every one for your well wishes for my dog Barricade. The pills he is on are making him really tierd, he sleeps more than normal now.

Apparently the three silkies that were left, got by me when I locked everyone in the coop yesterday cause they are gone now.

But I have four silkies that are a few weeks younger that are in a grow out pen. One of the chickens I thought was taken by the cyote was my Brown Leghorn named motor mouth (she walks around clucking constantly, for no reason) Guess I was wrong because today she showed up with 4 little chicks that seem to have just hatched yesterday

! I am assuming their Daddy is my Road Island Red boy because they look like RIR babies. Those will be some productive laying girls when they are of age. Ready for some cuteness??? I know you are....




Also I have three broodies on eggs, Ebony is a black Astralorp(sp?) and she is sitting one two blue EE eggs, then Emma is one of my Black Cochin Mixes she is on three eggs from my black Jersey Giannt (big burtha) who last we saw was "gotten to" by my Serama rooster Tiny Tim just wanted to see what would come out of that mix. Then in the black berry bushes is one of my turkeys one a clutch and she is due next week end.

I figured sense I was posting pics I would show you the chicks that hatched out of eggs from 4Hpultrymom (hope I got her name right)

Here are two of the BLRW chicks, you can see what a huge difference there is in their coloring. The other chicks are EEs and Olive eggers so other than the BLRW I really don't know which are which.


So far this seems to be the only little boy, but because I have found that different breeds differ on when you find out the sex, I am not positive if he is the only boy. But they are so dang cute! Some of them are begining to stray from the Moms and run off on their own. Hope ya'll enjoy the pics!

Did a crop & enlarged the Partridge Chantecler pullet...the last pic was too small to see her lovely feathers...........

She's AMAZING!!!! (Especially considering her momma came from a hatchery! Gotta love her daddy's genetics!!!) And that crele boy looks JUST like his daddy!!!

YES! naked neck silkies. She called them showgirls? These were the only 2 naked necks she had but
she had blue, splash and buff. Really cute.

She also had splash "sizzles"! OOOH I want one of those so bad.

I have a black Sizzle roo that is looking for a new home, I also have a paint that is staying here and maybe a black hen.
