She is in the greater Portland, OR area. She has some of the best Fav's you will find. And in fact she was just here and we had an awesome visit all afternoon. I am kind of so in trouble. See Jeanine came to pick up some birds that I was to get for her!Cloverleaf Farms....where is that? Wondering if she breeds Salmon Faverolles? Are those good egg layers? I think I want a couple of those next spring, or whenever my first pullet goes broody![]()

LOL I am so tempted to get this and turn it into hatchery/chicken supply room. Got a buddy that converted one into his gaming room by running power. They are pretty well insulatedhttp://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/zip/3221138116.html

Quote: I have some of her LF Salmon Favs. I love them! I am going to try breeding them next spring and see how I do. I got a great pair from her and hatched some eggs and kept the cockerel and two of the best pullets. I will see what I have when they all grow up, then go from there.![]()
CR- Nice job ace!Tell her Hi for me when you see her again!![]()
Black Stars (black with red feathers/feather edges on the chest and face) are very nice birds. I've had two and they've both been wonderful, very calm and sweet. When the sun hits them, they're green (maybe blue and purple too)! Mine have been very reliable layers.See I guess what I'm having a hard time deciding is if I want a bunch of mediocre laying GORGEOUS birds running around the backyard, or if I want to only feed them if they're giving us an excellent amount of eggs; so far I haven't found a truly pretty bird I want to have around, that also lays a lot of eggs. I don't like the look of RIRs or most of the other production breeds. Can you guys recommend birds that are pleasing to the eye and lay at least 70-80% of the time?
