Very cute. He will have fun with that play house. It will be good for him, too. Some kids love small spaces. We used to put up a play tent on our oldest child's bed when he was in preschool. He would go there and curl up on a big pillow when something disturbed him (usually noise - flushing toilets, vacuums, etc.).
You will be amazed at your son's progress at school. Both our boys went through 2 years of ECE (special ed) preschool, and my youngest also went through an all-day autism kindergarten class. It was amazing to see how much they changed and grew.
As for the clothes issue... sigh... I wish I knew how to deal with that one. My youngest (now 8) still puts his shirts and pants on backwards nearly every day (but, we're thankful he can finally dress himself) and my oldest (10) still can't stand to have socks or shoes on and we seem to be always missing both of those. Last year, a kid in his class stole his orthotics out of his shoes ($200/each) and took them home after my son took them off during class. His IEP allows him to take them off to help him focus and concentrate (a therapist recommendation), so the school was very diligent about finding who stole the orthotics. Thankfully, we got them back. It was frustrating - it was a boy we have seen be mean to our son on more than one occasion. I'm not sure what to do about it.

Did anyone else notice that there is a huge lack of chicken tattoo flash in the world? Good luck to me finding a Cochin hen.
I'm a little worried. I figured the first to lay would be Martha, not Laya, Martha is MUCH bigger, with a MUCH redder and more defined (eg. BIGGER) comb, and her legs are twice the thickness of Laya's. Could this be a roo? Gosh I really freaking hope not, that would KILL me! She's always been my favorite, since day 1.
