Wasp & Chicken Coop - Help!!

the alcohol works, but be careful, you have to get close and some will fly off as soon as you spray....

It won't hurt chickens to eat wasps?
No, not if you make sure that your chickens chew their wasps real good so that your hens don't get chocked from eating too fast. .Forgive me lord, I saw the opportunity and I took it.

I'm sorry.

That is why I use a 16 oz bean or other tin can full of gasoline. Wait till full dark (when everyone is home and asleep) and dash the gas on them quick, hard, up close, and personal. If you do it right it will kill every wasp like immediately if not quicker. You can tell if you're doing it right because all the wasps will be dead before they even have the chance to unfold their wings. WARNING Do not attempt this if you have an open flame nearby. I doubt that rubbing alky is any worse of a poison than Regular Gas, in fact Gasohol contains up to 15% alcohol and both are flammable .

We hung a brown lunch bag filled with paper in our shed/barn 3yrs ago,, haven't had a bee/hornet/wasp hive since. It may work in a coop as well.

What did you hang in the paper bag?

We have awful yellow jacket infestation in my coop and run. I just found and killed a nest in another part of the yard. Then this problem occurred. Can't find the best.

Can I just spray soapy water in the air where they are? I don't want to kill the plants in the area with a ton of alcohol sprayed randomly, or soap for that matter.

Would love to hang something to get them to vacate the area.

Thanks in advance.

The bag has nothing but scrap pieces of paper in it.
