Wasp nests in the chicken run

I used to deal with wasp nests with a blow torch.

WD 40 and a lighter. Carefully.

It's attached to a tarp, unfortunately. Otherwise, I'd probably try it.

Hairspray like Aqua net (without lighter) may work.

Dilution? I'm assuming spray.

I have that on hand as well. Both spray concentrate and powder.

10% hand pump spray. One pump is usually all it takes. Killed one (nest, three wasps) yesterday trying to make a nest behind the bunny cages. At least, as long as you get the nests when there are only a handful of wasps on them.

I see 4-5 at the most on a nest.

I saw two more nests in a less visible spot when I was in the coop a few minutes ago.

I agree with the use of Permethrin, I use it 2 ways, 1 in a 32 oz spray bottle so I can stream it for pests like this and in a hand held for bigger jobs. Whatever way you do it, prepare to run, they will bomb you like a fighter pilot, despise those things! Good luck.
